Ann T. Russell

Our wonderful mother, Ann Trundy Russell, 76, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Ann, a resident of Sanford and Hartford, Maine, grew up in Addison and spent her lifetime in both Maine and New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Russell and brother Elwin Trundy.Ann spent her life surrounded by family and friends. She raised eight children and dedicated her life to the service of others. Ann was an integral part of the North Parish Congregational Church in Sanford for thirty years, where she volunteered and led committees and activities, including the women's fellowship, music, suppers, and holiday fairs. All benefited from her talents; most admired was her homemade pies and pastries. Ann loved her summers at Bear Pond in Hartford where you would find her enjoying the call of the loons and the laughter of family with her companion Cuddles purring on her lap.Ann is survived by her sister, Jeanette Perry, of Addison, and her children: Pam and Bruce Davison, West Paris, ME; Marc and Sharon Russell, Pembroke, NH; Sherry and Steve Cummings, Sebastian, FL; Toby and Lorrie Russell, Merrimack, NH; Wendy and Tim Russell-Verrill, Turner, ME; Michael Russell, Gray, ME; Susan Russell Goulet, Hartford, ME; Kimberly and Phil Hilton, Wilton, ME; and 19 grandchildren and 12 great-children.Visiting hours will be on Friday, January 25th from 5 to 7PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1PM at the North Parish Congregational Church in Sanford.
