  1. Thinking of Annie today in connection with MLK and civil rights.
    Twenty five years ago my wife and I took Annie to New Hope Baptist Church in Portsmouth, NH for the 25th Anniversary of Martin’s death. The guest speaker was Jesse Jackson and we ended up in the same front pew. with him. Annie was in her element and shared the story how she had met Malcolm X back in the day in NYC. Great stories..great lady.
