Angie Boissonneault, 80, of Sanford died on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford.Angie was born in Freeport on April 10, 1934 to Edward and Blanche (Camire) Lachance. She grew up in Saco where she attended local schools. When she was in high school her family moved to Sanford and she graduated from Sanford High School in 1954. In 1955 she married Richard Boissonneault and together they shared nearly 60 years of marriage and raised three children. She was employed as a sales associate at several large department stores in the Sanford area during her working life until she retired at the age of 62.Angie was a devout Catholic and had been a member of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish. She enjoyed scrapbooking, genealogy and cherished the holidays. She was particularly fond of Halloween. She took pride in collecting stuffed animals throughout the year which she would lovingly distribute to approximately 800 trick-or-treaters every Halloween. Spending time with family was always a priority for Angie, especially with her grandchildren. Each year she and her husband would rent a cottage on the beach for their family gather and enjoy the ocean together. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Angie was predeceased by her parents; by her brother, Dr. Donald Lachance and by her son-in-law, Everett Chadbourne, Jr.Surviving are her husband Richard Boissonneault of Sanford; three children, Debbie Chadbourne and her companion Scott of North Berwick, Donna Hanson Dugas and her husband Paul of Springvale and Mark Boissonneault and his wife Stephanie of Sanford; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 25th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.
