Angele P. Beaudette
Angele P. Beaudette, 84, of Springvale, died on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.Angele was born in Montpelier, Vermont on November 2, 1927 to Ovila and Hortense (Dion) Pinard. She grew up and attended local schools in Montpelier until her family relocated to Springvale when she was 16. She graduated from Sanford High School. In 1947 she married Raymond Beaudette and together they raised three children. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at S.B. Emery and then at Hannaford Brothers in Sanford.Angele was a devoted wife and mother and made spending time with her family a priority. She took many family trips over the years to visit relatives in Vermont and Canada. Recently she and her husband enjoyed many trips to the Beacon Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire. Angele was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale. She was an active member of the parish and particularly liked helping at the church Christmas fair. She enjoyed many activities including bowling, playing bridge, collecting stamps, skiing, crocheting, knitting, making crafts and going to the beach. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond Beaudette of Springvale; three children, Paul Beaudette of Springvale, Elaine Jobling and her husband Douglas of Harrisville, RI and Donald Beaudette and his wife Sheree of Saco; five grandchildren, Wendy Cyr of Taunton, MA, Ryan Jobling of Glocester, RI, Evan Beaudette of Saco, Blake Beaudette of Saco and Julia Beaudette of Saco; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Emma Jobling of Glocester, RI; two sisters, Beatrice Campbell of Natick, MA and Theresa DuBois of Sanford and a sister-in-law, Rita Leroux of York.Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 5th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 6th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church, located on Payne Street in Springvale.
