PORTLAND - Angela M. "Jean" Tetrault, 90, formerly of Brook Road, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Mercy Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Portland, Maine on October 11, 1923 the daughter of Antonio and Antoinette Napolitano Scala. She attended local schools and graduated from Portland High School. Jean worked for many years as a Certified Nurses Aid at the Barron Center. She was a very private and independent woman that cared for others with pride and dignity. In her younger years, her greatest past time was playing bingo at Cathedral. The family would like to express their gratefulness and appreciation to the entire staff of Mercy Hospital for the care which their mother received during her stay there. Jean was predeceased by her first husband Philip J. O'Donnell on October 31, 1968; her second husband Albert Tetrault in 2004; three sisters Mary Caiola, Serena Scala and Nancy Scala; two brothers Louis and Clement Scala. She is survived by a son Gregory Sr. and his wife Ann O'Donnell of Hampden; four grandchildren Jessica and her husband Matthew LaFleur of New Hampshire, Melissa Jean O'Donnell of Hampden, Kristina and her husband Patrick Guerette of Sidney, ME, Gregory O'Donnell Jr. of Hampden; two great grandchildren Jackson and Lucas LaFleur of New Hampshire; brother Peter and his wife Dorothy Scala of Portland; a sister Joanne Berry of Portland; a sister in law Priscilla Scala of Portland; three stepsons James, Joseph and John Tetrault and families; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Peters Catholic Church, 72 Federal Street, Portland. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME.
