Alvin F. McInnis

Alvin F. McInnis, Jr., 83, of Lebanon, Maine, passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2016 at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough. He was born in New Bedford, MA, on June 16, 1933 a son of the late Alvin Sr., and Helen (Coughlin) McInnis. He served in the US Navy.Following the military he was employed by Daly Bros. as a trucker. Along with his wife Rose Marie they were foster parents for 50 years.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rose Marie (Deon) McInnis of Lebanon, daughter, Andrea Jagger of Lebanon, Maine, son, Scott McInnis of Lebanon, Maine and Louis McInnis of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by one sister, Pat Reeves and her husband, William of Florida as well as four grandchildren.A funeral service with military honors will be held on Friday, July 1st at 11AM at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
