Roland Leon Hoitt Jr.

Roland L Hoitt Jr “Rollie” passed away unexpectedly on May 29th. He was a long time resident of Springvale Maine. He was predeceased by his mother Judith Diamant, his step father Edward (Tom) Diamant and his father Roland L Hoitt. His partner, of 24 years also predeceased him, Mary Dowey. She always held a big spot in his heart even years after she left this earth…. Through their many years together he gained many friends that became family. Later he met Valerie Riley and they spent 8 years together until she left this earth as well. Her family also became his family. He was especially close to Valerie’s daughter Sharon and Sharon’s children Ryker and Valeria. They light up every time they saw their Papa. He had one daughter Tarsha Innes, four grandchildren and two step grandchildren and unfortunately left this earth before his great granddaughter made her entrance here. He had many longtime friends that left an impact on him, as he did on them. Rollie loved riding his bike, fishing, playing his guitar and anything out in nature. He had many jobs over the years however his main trade was painting. It brought him great pride. He had a big heart and loved to help others and he will be greatly missed by many.
