Janice Claire Williams 1947-2023 LEBANON—Janice Claire Williams, 76, of Lebanon, Maine, died Friday May 5 at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 19, 1947 the daughter of John and Lillian (Kearns) Cropper. She moved to New Jersey at an early age and that is where she grew up. She spent summers in Maine with her aunt and uncle and later, moved to Ogunquit with her parents. The family operated Maxwells Store for several years. She then went to work as a dispatcher for the Ogunquit Police Department. Janice met her husband, Darrel Williams in 1993 and they were married in 1994. They lived in several towns in Maine but settled in Lebanon. Mrs. Williams enjoyed gardening, drawing, fashion, shopping and interior design. Janice is survived by her husband, Darrel; her daughter, Kelly Connors of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Atticus Connors, Quinn Connors, Hannah Goodman and Juana Hayes. There will be a memorial service for Janice at a later date.
