Stephen Wayne Lovejoy

Stephen W. Lovejoy, 76, of Sanford, Maine, passed away on March 15, 2023, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford. He was born on February 4, 1947, in Portland, Maine, to Donald and Marjorie (Rodway) Lovejoy. Stephen lived a fulfilling life, holding several jobs during his working career, including working at Sprague Electric and as a real estate agent. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967, serving during the Vietnam War. Stephen had a passion for driving his sports car, which brought him joy and relaxation. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who cherished time spent with his family and friends. May he rest in peace and be forever remembered for his dedication to his country and the love he shared with his family. Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Liliane Lovejoy, three children, Scott Lovejoy, Jason Lovejoy and Heather Nazarian; his grandchildren, Sean Lovejoy, Cameron Nazarian and Sabrina Nazarian and three great-grandsons. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A graveside service with military honors service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 15th at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery located on Stanley Road in Springvale. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
