  1. I owe a great deal to mon cousin Ray. I remember Ray and Gerri when they picked up a group of us Joe and Lydia Raymond kids and took us to the Circus. This will always be a great memory for me. They were so loving and generous to us. We didn’t have a lot growing up but we were family. I have always been inspired by our two cousins, Ray Pelletier and Janice (a cousin on the Belanger side.) They both had polio and they showed us how to live and overcome any disabilities they might have had. They both are an inspiration. My last memory of Ray was of him and Gerri sharing a lobster roll feast at their house. Good friends and great cousins. Remember Ray, if you see a penny, pick it up! May you rest in the peace of our loving Savior. God bless you and Gerri and the Raymond/Pelletier families. Deacon Hector Raymond. Powell (Columbus), Ohio.

  2. Ray was my neighbor. I used to go out when he was outside his house and shoot the bull with him whenever I had the chance.

  3. Aunt Gerry and family

You were one of the sweetest and loving uncles that I have ever known every single one of us loved you dearly, and you will be greatly missed. sending my prayers, my heart and my tears to Aunt Jerry and my cousins , may you find comfort in knowing that he is now in the loving arms of the Lord.
The gates of heaven are open , the trumpets are blowing. and the angels are singing, and the Lord is saying welcome my child! Welcome, my loyal and faithful servant. Job well done.! Fly high with the angels uncle Ray God! Godspeed. until we meet again in the house of the Lord we love you.

  7. The one incident that resonate most with me and my brother Ray is the summer of either 1945 or 1946 0n a dare we decided to bike from Van Buren to Frenchville and visit with Pepe and Memere Raymond where we would be treated to ice cream. We arrived exhausted but enjoyed our treat and set out on our return, if I recall we did get a ride, part of the way, on the way back from some kind soul. Not long, on my return to School in Bedford, Mass I was called to Father Superior office where he informed me that Ray was transported to Nothern Maine Medical Center in Lewiston and was hospitalized for polio, on my way home for Christmas vacation I visited Ray at the hospital, who as always was his outgoing and positive self. You, Raymond was one of a kind and the one in the family who was most like your name, Raymond.

    grnad R
