Resided in: Lake Arrowhead, Maine

Diane C. Dubovik, 69, of Waterboro, died at her home on Thursday, January 12, 2022. Diane was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts on August 1, 1953, to Anthony and Jesse Dymek. She grew up in Palmer, Massachusetts and attended local schools, graduating from Palmer High School in 1971. In 1976 she married Francis Dubovik and together they raised two daughters and shared 47 years of marriage. During her working life she was employed as a bookkeeper at several different businesses. Diane enjoyed reading, cooking, playing Candy Crush, decorating for all the different holidays and tending to her butterfly garden. She loved animals and was especially fond of German Shepherds and poodles and always had a poodle throughout her entire life. She liked to take trips to York Beach with her husband, visiting the Nubble Lighthouse and loved to eat seafood, especially lobster. Diane’s pride and joy was her family and she always enjoyed spending time with all of them. She could be a bit stubborn at times when she made her mind up about something, but she also had a great sense of humor and a lot of love for her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Surviving are her husband, Francis Dubovik and her two daughters, Melissa and Tracy Dubovik, all of Waterboro; her four dogs, Morgan, Bella, Jacob and Ziva and her cat, Charlotte. At Diane’s request, arrangements will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to Timber Ridge Shepherds, 221 Simpson Road, Saco, Maine 04072. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
