William DeZutter, 78, of Sanford passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was born on January 7, 1944 to Leonard and Lillian (Rosher) DeZutter in Boston, MA where he grew up and attended Boston High School. After high school he served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. Bill was employed at Tewksbury Hospital as an adaptive equipment tech. During his free time he enjoyed working on cars and learning about natural health remedies. The time he spent with friends and family was the most important and brought him much joy. Being a kind and giving person, Bill was alway willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Mary Picanso, his brother, Leonard DeZutter, his daughter Kyrie DeZutter, and granddaughter Kaila Barber. Survivors include his wife Dorothy "Rocky" DeZutter, sons William F. DeZutter II and David DeZutter, his brother Daniel Sullivan, grandsons Jacob and Dustin DeZutter, Kim and Bill Aiton, Bob Penny, Corrie Walton and special friends Bob Rutherford, Keith Coco, Pat Cahill and Barbara McGee. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Cedar Brook Burial Ground 175 Boothby Rd, Limington, ME.
