From an early age, Beatrice enjoyed basketball, skiing at Beaver Hill, swimming, riding her bicycle and playing the piano. She continued these activities into her adult life and shared them with her family. She was known for her great hand-knit ski hats, a few are still in use today. Beatrice was predeceased by her parents, her two brothers, Fr. Paul Plante and Michel Plante, and one sister, Jacqueline Ingvalson. She is survived by her husband Bob of 68 years, her children: Susan Roberts and husband Warren of Shapleigh, Stephen Legere and wife Fabiane of Billerica, MA, Richard Legere and wife Linda, of Lovell, Ann Marie Eaton and husband Ernie, of Kennebunk, and James Legere and wife Kathy, of Georgetown, CO, eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, her sister Irene Roberge, and many nieces and nephews.

I will remember Bea as a sweet, kind and lovely “lady” in the true sense of the word.
I enjoyed having conversations with her at family gatherings in times past. I admired her fortitude and grace. I always looked forward to Bea bringing her famous
“Peanut butter fudge” to those gatherings. It was the best peanut butter fudge you could ask for! Bea will be missed. Rest in peace lovely lady………
