Gary A. Surrell

Gary A Surrell, 76, of Sanford, ME passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday September 9th, 2022 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, ME. He was born on July 24, 1946 to the late Joel F Surrell and Mary J (Stephenson) Surrell in Portland, ME He is survived by his two brothers Joel Jr. and Robert. He is also survived by his seven children: Patrick Surrell and his wife Ila of Lexington, NC, Carolyn Surrell of Sanford ME, JeanMarie Surrell Rodriguez and her husband Dan of Keene NH, Jeremy Surrell of Manchester NH, Stephen Surrell and his wife Lori of Winston-Salem NC, Elijah Surrell of Winston-Salem NC, and Gabriel Surrell of Manchester NH. As well as his 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren He enjoyed the simple things in life such as his daily routine of checking his emails, news and weather on his computer while having his morning cup of coffee and enjoyed sitting in his chair watching British murder mysteries as well as many other documentary television shows with loved ones. He also had a love for dogs and cats caring and loving on many whether they were his own or his anyone else’s such as his grandpups and cats. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. There will be no formal services per his request.
