  1. Carlene was a friend and mentor as I became active at First Baptist Church of Springvale. We quickly discovered we had a common background in the hospitality business and joined forces during many church events. Carlene offered sound advice and information as I became active on several boards and church council. We often shared war stories about our time in the restaurant and hotel business. There are not enough words to thank Carlene for all she has done for me and our church. She will be missed by hundreds.

  2. Carlene was always an inspiration to me when I became church secretary. Enjoyed her visits when she stopped by. The whole Brown family were true servants in need to the church and I so appreciate all they did. Prayers up to Carlene’s family at this time of loss.

  3. Thoughts and prayers go out to Carlene’s family at this time
