Robert R. Vezeau

Robert R. Vezeau, 76, of Barrington, New Hampshire, passed away peacefuly on February 28, 2018 in Boston from complications from lung cancer. His family was with him holding his hands. He was born in Sanford on August 17, 1941 a son of the late Ronald and Irene (Couturier) Vezeau. He graduated from Sanford High School in 1960. He enlisted in the US Navy and served four years as a marine engineer.He returned to Sanford after his tour of duty and went to work in the construction field. In 1968 he married Rachel Fontaine. They raised three boys, Michael, Jeffrey and Aaron.In 1975 Bob reenlisted in the Navy. This time to pursue a retirement nest egg in the aviation field. He worked on and managed helicopter maintenance as a navy chief petty officer. Bob retired with 27 years of service and also served in the Army National Guard for five years.In 2000 Bob married Sheila Rhinevault and made their home in Barrington. Bob loved to teach others whatever he had learned and he loved life. He loved cars, especially hot rods. He was good with his hands especially woodworking and gardening. Bob loved his toys.Beside his wife and children he is also survived by one sister, Nancy Lincourt and one grandson, Derek Vezeau.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10th at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, 66 North Avenue, Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
