Ronald E. Schildt

Ronald E. Schildt, 72, of North Berwick, died on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Gosnell Memorial House in Scarborough.Ronald was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on December 4, 1936 to Aaron and Blanche Sharrah Schildt and attended local schools. Following high school he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served for 20 years. After retiring from the military, Ronald went to work for Pratt & Whitney where he was employed for 15 years.Ronald enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time outdoors. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Surviving are his wife Orietta Schildt of North Berwick, a daughter, Dianne Patnaude of Mascotte, Florida and a granddaughter, Stephanie Patnaude of Kissimmee, Florida.Visiting hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale. Burial will take place at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the North Berwick Rescue Squad, P.O.
