Richard Omundsen

Richard Omundsen, 63, of Brooklyn, New York, died on Monday, September 6, 2010 in Lebanon.Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 3, 1947 to John and Olga (Tonnessen) Omundsen and attended local schools. Richard had been employed at Prime Source Building Products Inc. since 1976. He was a dog lover and he enjoyed collecting trains and visiting Maine. He will be remembered as a kind and loving man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Richard was predeceased by two brothers, John and George Omundsen, and two sisters, Mary Omundsen and Margaret Hoffman.Surviving are a brother, Robert Omundsen of Staten Island, NY; two sisters, Evelyn Hunter of Brooklyn, NY and Judith Olsen and her husband Arthur of Zephyr Hills, FL and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and was a proud uncle to all of them.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, September 10th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 11th.
