Robert Thomas Libby Jr., 26 years old, of Limerick died unexpectedly Monday evening November 10, 2003 in Limerick.Mr. Libby was born on June 18, 1977 in Portland, ME. He was the son of Robert T. Sr. and Maureen Mowbray Libby of Limerick. "Tee", as he was affectionately known was a 1995 graduate of Massebesic H.S. He worked alongside his father for R.T. Libby and Son Excavating, learning the in's and out's of the third generation business. Since he was a child Tee had a passion for playing in the dirt and enjoyed operating the big machinery.Tee was a standout hockey player. He enjoyed snowmobiling, playing video games and loud music. A true kid a heart, Tee loved to be around the young ones, especially at family reunions. His charming smile and warm laugh always brightened those around him. His love for his family and friends will be greatly missed by many.Tee was a truly caring and compassionate man of character that enjoyed life, and more importantly helped others enjoy their time with him. A great husband, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to all.Predeceasing him is his grandmother Phyllis M. Mowbray, and grandfather Kenneth Libby.Surviving is his wife Michele Gerry Libby of Limerick; his parents, Maureen Mowbray Libby and Robert T. Libby Sr. of Limerick; his mother and father-in-law Claire and Darryl Gerry of Alfred; grandfather George S. Mowbray of Hamilton, MA; grandmother Virginia L. Libby of Limerick; Aunt Lori, and Uncle Stewart Mowbray of Salisbury, MA; sister-in-law and brother in-law Jason and Rachel Roy of Shapleigh; cousins; Jonathan, Jason, and Katelyn; nephew Ethan, and several great aunts and uncles.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday November 13, 2003 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St. Springvale, ME. On Friday please meet the family at St. Matthew R.C. Church in Limerick for a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Limerick Fire & Rescue, P.O. Box 195, Limerick, ME 04048.
