Curtis W. Lessard

Curtis W. Lessard, 22, of Waterboro, died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. on November 18 of a rare disease.He was born in Columbus, GA on July 7, 1986 a son of Lucien Lessard and Leah Short Pillarella. He attended local schools including Massabesic High School and was recently employed in Connecticut.He came back to Waterboro last summer to live with his father and to fight his illness.Survivors include his father Lucien Lessard and his wife Pam of Waterboro, 2 brothers, Lucien Lessard and Kyle Lessard, his mother Leah Pillarella and her husband Dan of Connecticut, 2 sisters, Haleigh Pillarella and Melissa Pillarella, his maternal grandmother Jeanne Gamache, his maternal grandfather William Short and his companion Joanne Draper, his paternal grandparents Bert and Betty Lessard, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, December 7 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Community Church on Route 5 in North Waterboro, with a reception to follow at the church.
