Pauline R. Laws

Pauline Ramsdell Laws, 89, of Epsom, New Hampshire, died on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the Epsom Health Care Facility in Epsom.Pauline was born in Waterboro, Maine on June 24, 1918 to Vernon and Susie Bean Ramsdell and attended local schools. She was a graduate of Waterboro High School. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Marine Corps. She met her husband, Robert, while she was stationed in Philadelphia. They lived there together for many years while raising their daughter, then moved back to Waterboro.Mrs. Laws was employed at Sprague Electric for 10 years. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was an animal lover and was especially fond of her Siamese cat "Tristan" which was her beloved companion for over 20 years. Pauline will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Robert Laws and her brother, Malcolm Ramsdell.Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Dore and her husband Steven of Northwood, NH; a sister, Shirley Ferguson of McRae, AK; a granddaughter Brianne Dore of Hampton, NH; four step-granddaughters, Julie, Shanda, Danielle and Erika; eight step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in South Waterboro.
