Sandra A. Grant

WELLS: Sandra A. (Hicken) Grant, 68, of Wells, Maine, left her earthly home and went to her spiritual reward, December 20, 2009 at 3:00 am after a long courageous battle with ALS.Sandra was born January 6, 1941 in Alfred, Maine, a daughter of Marguerite and George M. Hicken and older sister to Susan (Hicken) Dumais.She has been a member of the Church of Christ for 41 years and was currently a faithful member of the Dover Church of Christ. Sandra held true to Revelation 2:10. She loved walks on the beach, gardening, watching birds, all animals, and teaching Sunday school. Her greatest passion was her eight grandchildren, whom she cherished kisses and hugs from.Sandra was a loving wife, mom, nana, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be sadly missed.Sandra is survived by and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Tony Grant, Jr. of Wells, Maine; Together they raised three children who survive her; son Todd and his wife Donna of Plymouth, Michigan; son Dr. Mark and his wife Jennifer of Brighton, Michigan, and loving daughter, Heidi (Grant) and her husband Paul Soper of Wells, Maine.Sandra especially cherished her grandchildren Madison and Emily Grant of Plymouth, Michigan; Hannah, Maxwell, Kennedy, and Amelia Grant of Brighton, Michigan, and Roslyn and Grant Soper of Wells, Maine.There will be no services at this time.
