Glenn T. Fulton
Glenn T. Fulton, Sr., 84, of Acton, died August 3 at home after a lengthy illness.He was born in Salem, MA on November 19, 1925, a son of Dwight L. and Evelyn (Thurston) Fulton, Sr. He grew up in Marblehead, MA and attended local schools.Mr. Fulton owned and operated Glenn T. Fulton & Sons Carpentry in Marblehead for many years. When he retired he moved to Great East Lake in Acton and wintered in Ocala, FL for over 20 years.He was a member of the VFW and the Acton Congregational Church.His leisure interests included hunting, fishing, traveling, and going on cruises. He enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and was a fan of the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Braves (via Boston and Milwaukee.)Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mildred (Larson) Fulton of Acton, son Glenn T. Fulton, Jr. and his wife Sharon, son Grant Fulton and his wife Irie all of Marblehead, MA, daughter Lynne Emmons and her husband Clyde of Sanbornville, NH, brother Dwight L. Fulton, Jr. of Marblehead, MA, and his grandchildren Rachel Fulton, Kirk Fulton, Sarrah Davis and Allysa Fulton.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in Highland Grove Cemetery in No. Shapleigh.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Acton Congregational Church, P. O.
