Santos Algarin

Santos Algarin, 62, of Springvale died late Saturday evening June 15, 2002 at the Southern Maine Medical Center In Biddeford, ME.Mr. Algarin was born on April 24, 1940 in Puerto Rico. He was the son of Basilo and Encarnacion Diaz Algarin. At the age of 18 he moved from Puerto Rico to the States.For many years Mr. Algarin worked in the plastic industry of Massachusetts. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors as well as having good conversation with family and friends. He was a man of great religious virtue and enjoyed making others happy.Survivors include his mother Encarnacion Algarin, three brothers, Roberto, Jose', and Polo, and five sisters, Carmen Algarin, Adria Velez, Juanita Algarin, Anna Delia, and Maria Algarin. Services for Mr. Algarin will be held at the convenience of the family.
