Harriett I. Baltzer

Harriett I. (Reynolds) Baltzer, 93, of Hampton, NH passed away on December 11, 2019 at a Kennebunk Nursing Home.She was born on Thanksgiving Day, 1926, at her home in Meddybemps, Maine. A daughter of Wallace and Eva Reynolds, she was one of four children, two sisters, Jean and Winniford, and a brother William.Harriet graduated from Calais High School in 1944. She worked in the Calais area until she met her future husband, Dale Baltzer from Newburyport, MA. They resided in Charlotte, Maine and eventually moved to Hampton, NH in 1960 where she raised her three children, Marilynn, Mark, and Charles.Harriet attended the Portsmouth Vocational Technical College and became a licensed nurse. She worked for over twenty years in medical facilities in Massachusetts.She lived at her Hampton NH home until the age of 90, when she moved in with her son and then on to the nursing home a year later.In addition to her children, she had two grandchildren, Dale and Adam and three great grandchildren, Eva, Charlotte, and Victoria.At her request, there will be no visitation and a private service will be in Meddybemps, Maine.
