Helen Mae Jane Benoit

Helen Mae Jane (Innes) Benoit, aged 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Springvale, Maine, after a brief illness. Born on December 16, 1944 in Montreal, Canada, to the late Alexander Innes and Mary (Williamson) Innes, she moved to Maine in 1966, after marrying her first husband, Arthur Beals, with whom she had three children. She later married the late Allan Benoit Sr. in 1976, with whom she had one child. Helen loved the beach and sunshine and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Grant Beals (Kristin) from Eagle River, Alaska, Lane Beals of Sanford, Maine, Darren Beals (Katie) of Lakeville, Massachusetts, and Allan Benoit Jr. of Del Ray Beach, Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Donavan Noble, Courtney Beals, Ethan Beals, from Maine, Alden Beals from Lakeville, Massachusetts, Emma Benoit from West Palm Beach, Florida and one great grandchild, Avery Beals. Her brother, James Innes, preceded her in death. A private celebration of life is planned for the summer.
