Molly E. Sarson, 29, of Sanford, ME passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
She was born on August 2, 1991 to Patrick and Carole (Kidd) Sarson in Sanford, ME and was the youngest of four children. Molly graduated from Sanford High School in 2009 and continued her education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, where she made countless lasting friendships. She earned her bachelor's degree in business management, specializing in marketing.
Molly was currently employed by SunteckTTS where she worked with her brother Chris for the past two years. She was a dedicated employee and loved by many of her coworkers.
Molly was a lifelong athlete and played softball, soccer, basketball, and field hockey. In college she played a pivotal role in helping her softball team win the championship four years in a row. She also played ASA fast pitch softball, where her team made it all the way to the World Series.
Aside from sports, Molly had many hobbies and interests which included disc golf, cornhole, neighborhood poker nights, UNO and watching movies; she especially liked the Lion King and Hocus Pocus. She also enjoyed playing on a billiard league in Portland with her friends. She was a big Boston sports fan and always dreamed of working for the Boston Bruins. Molly also loved being an aunt and adored spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Molly was a very creative and artistic person. Whenever a birthday came around, she offered to make the cake. She was such a selfless and kind person and always put others first. One of her family's favorite memories was when she surprised her Dad by taking him to a 2018 American League Championship game for his birthday. She will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness and great sense of humor.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, Dennis and Joan Sarson, and James and Carole Kidd; her aunt Kristin Kidd; her uncles, Fred and Steven Sarson, James Dolph; and her cousin Joshua Marshall.
Survivors include her parents, Patrick and Carole Sarson of Sanford; siblings, brother Chris and his wife Kasey Sarson of Lebanon, sister Jennifer and her husband Jason Calisi of Westford, MA, brother Ryan Sarson of Sanford; her nieces and nephews, Cameron, Joshua, Finley and Hadley Sarson, and Aiden and Emma Calisi; her aunts and uncles, Donna Sarson and Scott Malcolm, David Sarson, Lynn and Mark Pittendreigh, Mari-Kate Sarson, Bonnie Dolph, Robin and Tom Marshall, James Kidd, Hal Shea, and Michael Serra, Melissa Kidd; and many cousins.
A celebration of Molly's life will be held on Saturday, June 12th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St, Springvale, ME. The family kindly requests that all visitors wear a mask.
