Belgrade- Mrs. Helene (Buck) MacLean-Lewis, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Gosnell Hospice House with her loving family at her side. She is the wife of the late Don Lewis, II.

Helene was born July 25, 1954, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Caroline (Geositz) Buck. Helene grew up in Catasauqua where she also graduated from Catasauqua High School. She has resided in Belgrade, Maine for the past 33 years.

Helene treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, she particularly enjoyed reading to her granddaughters. She also loved her grand dogs, visiting the coast and being at the ocean, collecting sea glass, and visiting light houses.

Helene is survived by her three children, Ryan J. MacLean and his wife Miranda of Yarmouth, Morgan MacLean and his wife Chelsey of Brunswick and Taylor Howard and her husband Dustin of Strong. Her treasured granddaughters Lydia and Caroline, her grand dogs Frannie, Camden, Duritz, Tundra, and Yeti. She is also survived by her brothers Kenneth Buck, Robert Buck and Dennis Buck, her niece Melissa Buck and her nephew Kevin Buck.

In addition to her husband Don and her parents, Helene is predeceased by her sisters Carole Buck, Linda Buck, and her brother Curt Buck.

Helene’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Quarry Tap Room, 122 Water Street Hallowell, ME from 2-5 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The family invites you to join them in a casual remembrance and celebration of Helene’s life.
