PORTLAND – Kenneth Lewis Currier, of Portland, Maine, passed away on March 30, 2026. He was born in Portland on October 27, 1950, to George Henry Currier and Cecile D. Smart.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted Catholic and found great joy in watching Notre Dame and New England Patriots football.

He was predeceased by his parents, Cecile and George Currier, as well as his siblings, George Currier and Mary Jane Currier.

Kenneth is lovingly remembered by his children, Randy K. Currier, Timothy L. Currier, and Amy R. Currier. He was a cherished grandfather (“Papa”) to Jade A. Currier, Tianna L. Currier, Nevaeh R. Currier, K’Leb J. Currier, and Owen Z. Currier.

Kenneth had a fondness for the color blue; in his honor, family and friends are invited to wear blue to the funeral service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 08, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress St, Portland, ME. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A gathering will follow the service at Willow’s in South Portland. All are welcome to attend.
