Corinne Holbine

Portland, ME – Corinne Holbine, 78, formerly of New York, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Falmouth, ME. Corinne was born on July 5, 1947, in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Kenneth and RoseIda (Gabel) Travis.

Corinne grew up in Albany, where she attended local schools before beginning her career. She had a lifelong love of travel, especially to warm destinations with beautiful beaches. During the winter months, she often visited her sister Mary in Florida, where the two enjoyed escaping from the cold and taking trips to Disney World together.

Throughout her life, Corinne remained deeply involved in her local Catholic church communities wherever she lived. She generously gave her time as a Eucharistic Minister and in other volunteer roles, always finding meaning in serving others through her faith.

After retiring, Corinne moved to Maine to be closer to her daughter and to embrace the role of being “Grammy” to her grandsons. She loved cooking and baking for her family, especially for her boys. Corinne also enjoyed reading and spending countless hours outdoors.

Corinne will be remembered as a strong, outgoing, and social woman with a determined spirit and a deep love for her family.

Corinne was predeceased by her siblings, Ken Travis and his wife Carol, Tom Bruno, Ann Anastasio, Rosemary Soraghan and her husband Buddy, and John Travis; her niece, Shannon Soraghan; her dear friend, Frank Thoma; her beloved dog, Peanut; and her former husband, George Holbine. She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Heater and her husband Rob; her grandsons, Elliott and Elijah; her sister, Mary Bruno; siblings-in-law, Joe Anastasio and Betty Travis; and many beloved extended family members.
