Westbrook – Melissa (Pinkham) Flynn, 73, passed away at Springbrook Center on Feb. 28, 2026. Missy was born on July 7, 1952, in Portland.

Missy grew up in Standish, graduating from Bonny Eagle High School in 1970. She worked at Healthtex in Portland for many years until they closed, she went on to have many jobs throughout her life in the Portland area, making friends everywhere she went!

She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Portland Eagles. Missy enjoyed road trips to Winter Haven, FL for vacations and to enjoy the sunshine.

Missy was known for her fashion sense and outgoing personality. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Missy was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Kate Connors; brother, Bill Pinkham; and sister, Jane Bouchard. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Daniel Flynn; son, Paul Green; a few grandchildren; and sisters, Becky Yahm and Roxanne Shaw.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the care team at Springbrook Center for their care of Melissa over many years.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 4-6pm on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the new Conroy-Tully Walker Cremation, Funeral & Gathering Center, 300 Allen Ave. Portland.

RIP Missy You were one of my best friends all thru school and most of my life….as were the other 3, we used to take walks around the Cabbage Yard and talk about school ,the baseball games with the neighbors in the field just over the stone wall……Cabbage Yard belonged to the Harmons, Andersons, Lofgrens , Moseleys we were the original Cabbage Patch Kids.. the REAL ONES! And we will be again at some point time
