He was a man that was always happy and so full of life. He was stubborn, hardworking, very smart, adventurous, loved to travel, especially road trips because of his love for driving and building things from scratch. He loved to attend country music concerts and watch NASCAR and sports. He had a love for animals, and they always loved him. He was outspoken, always putting others first before him. He was dependable and always a phone call away for anyone who needed him. He was a true jack of all trades. He was well known for calling everybody on their birthdays and serenading them, no matter who it was. He loved his family so much and his friends and all those that came into his life. You could always find him talking about his wife and kids anywhere he went and how proud he was to have them.
Tony was a devoted father and while raising his kids, even with the many jobs he worked, he always made sure he attended all his kids school/life events and rarely missed a single one even involving himself whether it was being a soccer coach or being a Boy Scout leader for his son Nick, helping with girl scouts and attending his daughters track meets and so much more. He was always there to help in every stage of life for us. From moving into first apartments/homes, to college graduations for his daughter Krystal, or home/apartment repairs and etc. He truly was the best and most amazing dad/father we could have ever asked for. He tried his best to instill his wisdom, worth ethic, caring heart/love and positivity of life into all of his children and grandchildren. He shared a strong/close bond as father and daughter with his daughter Krystal, who was by his side until the end. He truly wanted to see us all strive in life. He was the kind of dad that accepted his stepchildren and niece as his own and his kids’ friends as his own too. He was a true role model for us all. We could not have been more thankful to have him.
Tony was a wonderful husband to DeBe. They shared a wonderful nearly 16 years together. What started as a teenage friendship, then later reunited into a beautiful marriage on 24 September 2016 for a long, lasting life together. She stood by his side til the very end, advocating for him and taking care of him til his very last breath, loving him and truly living out til death do us part. They had a love anyone would love to have and cared immensely for one another. They were truly each other’s person and had that glow inside whenever they were together. He made her a promise and gave it his all til the end. They made a life worth living with each other, buying their forever home and having a future planned; their life was simple and happy. He made her his happy place at the end of the day. They shared a strong bond, that they fought together to be kind, hardworking, caring individuals and the love they conquered. I love you was said at the beginning and end of every day!
He truly lived life to the fullest. He was always the light that lit up a room, pure entertainment for everyone, and he always had a smile on his face. He offered advice to everyone, was never afraid to embarrass his family because he was comfortable in his own skin as he would tell people. He was a true man of honor and integrity and had a work ethic that was truly rare. His charismatic personality, sense of humor and true love for life will forever be missed. This world has lost one of the good ones. He is truly at peace now, pain free and can now spend his days enjoying endless coffee, chocolate, Vienna sausages, cold red hot dogs and bowls of saltines and milk. He has moved on to be everyone’s guardian angel and cause good trouble in everyone’s life from up above!
A celebration of life will be held in the coming months in Maine, once all arrangements have been set, an event will be created on Facebook to notify every one of the details. A burial ceremony will be held in the Spring at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery when weather is warmer with close family/friends.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Tony’s name, to The Travis Mills Foundation.

The grandkids miss you dearly, but glad to have had their papa in their lives for as long as we did.
Rest easy soldier, you deserve it.
It was a great honor to be one of your best friends and ARMY brothers in Army Nat\’l Guards. Tony was part of the 262 unit in Norway which attached to the 133rd. Tony was leaving the Military shortly after I met him and boy did he make a difference in getting things done. As you know much cannot be done without fuel in the military. He was right there for me and many of us when we needed it. Tony had 3 Army Accomodation medals and others as well while he served and with Great reasons. I love you buddy and miss you already.
