
Gorham – Anne (Quincannon) Garthwaite, 76, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Gorham.
She was born in Portland, the daughter of the late John P. and Katherine (Foley) Quincannon.
Anne graduated from Cathedral High School and went to work at New England Telephone Company, retiring after 35 plus years from Verizon as a line assigner.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years, Jerry Garthwaite; brothers, Stephen Quincannon, John Quincannon Jr.; and a special aunt, Margie Burke. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Quincannon of Buxton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks and gratitude are extended to the many friends and family who were always there for her, especially the Hebert family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Anne’s Church, 299 Main Street, Gorham. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland, Maine. Arrangements are under the direction of the new Conroy-Tully Walker Cremation, Funeral & Gathering Center, 300 Allen Avenue, Portland.
