Ronald R. Carreira

November 24, 1959 ~ October 28, 2025

Ron Carreira, 65 yrs old, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2025: after a long hard battle with cancer.

He was born on November 24, 1959 to Ada Haskell and Ronald Carreira.

Ron looked up to his mother in every way and loved her more than words could describe.

Ron served a short time in the United States Navy, an experience that helped shape his strong work ethic.

And a high school graduate who later pursued training for, and obtaining, his CDL; which he did for some time.

He then pursued a career spanning over four decades in drywall and construction. Another testament to his versatility and hard-working nature. His craftsmanship earned him respect amongst peers and clients.

Ron never stopped learning or striving to better himself whether on a job site, bowling on a league, or behind the wheel, he approached every task with determination, precision and pride.

One of his greatest accomplishments was conquering the Four Corner Motorcycle Tour. On his Harley (Big Red) he totaled 10,752 miles, becoming the first finisher of 2023.

Ron found joy in simple pleasures. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing cards/cribbage w/mom, watching Nascar & Sports, particularly Red Sox, Patriots, Cowboys, playing pool, raising fish (especially the Arowana), playing Legos, boating/lobstering, and spending time with his family. These activities brought him both relaxation and camaraderie.

He loved his collection of Turtles and some sports memorabilia, which lead to also: bears/polar bears, Coca-Cola, dragons, and the Western (his gun & long coat esp). His memory lives on in the hearts of those he knew and loved.

Ron was a devoted husband, to Lillian Carreira with whom he shared 31 beautiful years of marriage. This past summer Ron and Lillian were able to enjoy a 4 Week road trip across America, discovering places they have always wanted to see.

Combined they had: 10 children, 20+ grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and a therapy pup named Cuddles.

Ron was predeceased by his father, Ronald Carreira, sister, Ronda Fredin, and brother, Robert Carreira.

He is survived by his Mother Ada Haskell, Sister Arlene Richardson and Husband Brad, Aunt Karen Dillon; Children: Lisa Merrill, Amy Martineau, Jennifer Garrow, Crystal Martin, Ricki Moreau, Dallas Carreira & Stepchildren: Dennis Boucher, Mark Boucher, Robin Milonas and Julia Milonas.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers consider donating to a cancer charity that helps their patients financially.
