SPRINGVALE— Jeanne L. Arsenault, 62, of Springvale, passed away surrounded by loved ones at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon, August 20th 2025.

She was born on August 26, 1962 in Sanford the daughter of Richard and Elaine(Conant) Arsenault. A very special woman to many, Jeanne dedicated her life to both her hunger for knowledge and her love of helping both people and animals alike.

Over the past several decades Jeanne had spent her time caring for her parents 24/7 as they aged before their passing. During that time she held many jobs including bookkeeping for her sister Eileen’s company Midnet Inc.,(before Eileen’s passing). Jeanne also ran her own business the Bridge of Light Studio, in Acton Maine where she offered supportive and healing services via her Reiki Practice.

In her younger years Jeanne grew up in Springvale and was a graduate of Sanford High School. She attended the University of Southern Maine and obtained a degree in Business and Communications. Jeanne also enlisted in the Army Reserve where she was studying to be a Russian translator but unfortunately was injured during training. She served in the Reserve for three years before being honorably discharged.

Jeanne was predeceased by her parents Richard and Elaine, her sister, Eileen and her brother William.
She is survived by her siblings, Maureen and Timothy Arsenault both of Springvale and Robin Russo of Troy New York. As well as her nieces, (that she cared for like daughters), Grace and Jasmine Arsenault of Springvale and Leanne Chabot of Shapleigh. Surviving her as well are her two Corgi Pups, Ella Louise & Piper who she loved with all her heart and who will remain in the care of her loving family.

Jeanne’s family will have a private gathering for close family only at a later date.

Jeanne’s family knows that she touched the lives of many and donated her time, energy and love to more people and organizations than can be named.
They ask that anyone who is wishing to honor her memory submit a donation in her name to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, https://www.hospiceofsouthernmaine.org/donate or their favorite Forest, Wildlife or Dog Rescue.
