Evelyn Z. (Van Egroo) Letourneau, age 93, passed away on Sunday October 31, 2021 at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco, ME with her family by her side. She was born in Providence, RI on September 4, 1928 to Gervais and Madeline (Arlequeeuw) Van Egroo.
On July 25, 1948 at St. Augustine's Church in Lawrence, MA Evelyn and Leo Letourneau were married. She resided for most of her adult life in Lawrence, MA where she worked for, and retired from, The Raytheon Company. After retiring she moved to Lebanon, ME in the 1990's to be closer to her son, Michael, and his family.
Evelyn was a quiet but strong woman who knew her own mind and loved with her whole heart. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, Gervais and Madeline Van Egroo, her husband Leo Letourneau, her son Michael Letourneau, and her sisters Catherine Marsland and Geraldine Corriveau as well as many other extended family members. She is survived by her family Jennifer and John Fatula, Sherry Letourneau, Timothy and Jody Corriveau and their children: Gary Corriveau and his child, Josh and Amanda Corriveau and their children, and Ashley and Brandon Zagarella and their children. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family of blood and heart.
There will be no services at her request. She will be buried next to her husband at Immaculate Conception in Lawrence, MA.
