Ana Maria Esguerra (née Aure)

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – Ana Maria Esguerra (née Aure), 83, of South Portland, Maine, died peacefully in the company of her eldest son and his wife in Madison, Wis., on the morning of Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Born on November 20, 1941, in Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines, Ana Maria was the second of four children born to Antonia Navasero Aure and Ignacio Vidamo Aure. She is survived by her brothers, Ignacio “Danilo” (Leilani) Aure and Ignacio “Jun” (Lolita) Aure; three half-siblings, Concepcion (Joel) Berger, Leonor (Ramon) Aquino and Emmanuel (Daisy) Aure; her three children, Aristotle (Joy), Adrian (Kyla) and Anne (Cory Koch); and eight grandchildren, Elliot, Jesse, Raphael, Lawrence, Sylvia, Isaac, Chrysostom and Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Felipa Carretero Aure; her younger sister, Alicia Aure Pantaleon; her grandson, Xavier; and her beloved husband, Arturo Sazon Esguerra.

A Visiting Hour will be held from 9:30am – 10:30am on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home of South Portland, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home at 10:30am, followed by a committal prayer service at 11am at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
