1927-2025

WEST NEWFIELD, MAINE—Anna Mae Fullerton, 98, of West Newfield, Maine and formerly of Gloucester, Massachusetts, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday March 11, 2025.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 3, 1927, the daughter of Herbert and Madeline (McIntyre) Dibert.
She grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts and graduated from Wellesley High School. Anna worked as a telephone operator during World War II and early on in her life did some modeling.

Anna was married to Richard Huke, until his death in 1983. The two of them lived for many years in Wolf Hill, Trynall’s Cove, Gloucester until Anna married James Fullerton. He also predeceased her. After his passing, Anna Moved to West Newfield, Maine where she lived with her daughter, Deborah.
Anna enjoyed riding horseback, including Dressage. She also enjoyed reading and restoring and remodeling old homes.

Mrs. Fullerton is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sourbeer and Jennifer Huke; her grandchildren, Garrett Michael Jones, Michael Ernest Jones, Christina McReynolds, Richard and Anna Madison and her great-grandchildren, Tre and Gavin Jones, Raylee Monroe Madison and Evelyn Ann Cotton Madison.

There will be a graveside service at the Seaside Cemetery in Gloucester, MA on Friday March 28 at 1:00 pm.
