Brenda E. Williams, 62, of Sanford, died on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Pinnacle in North Berwick. Brenda was born in Rochester, New Hampshire on October 27, 1959, to Frederick and Shirley (Ray) Terry. She grew up in Lebanon where she attended local schools, graduating from Noble High School in 1978. In 1980, she married Roger Williams and together they shared 41 years of marriage and raised three children. During her working life, Brenda worked for Shaw's Grocery Store in Sanford where she met her husband. She went on to work for Ames Department store before taking a position with the Sanford School Department where she worked as an ed-tech for 24 years at several schools. Brenda enjoyed stamping and scrapbooking and loved making beautiful cards and crafts for family and friends. She enjoyed 4-wheeling, boating, fishing, skiing, relaxing by the pool and spending time with her husband and family. In 2009 she purchased a Harley Davidson and became an avid motorcycle rider. It was easy to spot her riding through town by her "Harley Girl" license plate. Brenda was a devout Catholic and her faith was always very important to her. She had been a communicant of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish in Sanford where she had served as a Eucharistic minister. Brenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered as a fun loving and outgoing woman and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Brenda was predeceased by her parents Frederick Terry and Shirley Howard; her father-in-law, Lionel Williams and by her sister-in-law, Lorraine Landry. Surviving are her husband, Roger Williams of Sanford; three children, Rebecca Smith and her husband Wyatt of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Lacey Qualey and her husband Steven of Limington, Maine and Douglas Williams and his wife Justine of Sanford; 12 grandchildren, her brother, Tom Terry of New Hampshire; her step-father, Edward Howard of Milton, New Hampshire; her mother-in-law, Priscilla Williams of Sanford; a brother-in-law, Raymond Williams and his wife Gail; a sister-in-law, Elaine Hartford and her husband Barry; a brother-in-law, Daniel Williams and his wife Debra; a brother-in-law, James Landry and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 17th at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford. Interment will be in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to con sider sending a memorial contribution to the Pinnacle North Berwick Activities Fund, 47 Elm Street, North Berwick, Maine 03906. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.

  4. Dear Roger . My deepest sympathy to you & your family. My mom lived across the street from you her name was Cecile Gauthier, she passed at 94 yrs in 2016 at The Hillcrest Nursing Home. I use to come & take her home & spend time on her porch which she loved. She would always comment on how good you were to youre wife. She will RIP Joanne Gauthier Howard
