Brett Brusso

November 3, 1993 ~ March 22, 2022
Brett Joseph Brusso, 28, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on March 22nd with his family by his side after a short illness at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born on November 3, 1993 to Sherry Brusso in Sanford, where he attended and graduated from Sanford High School in 2012. Brett had special needs and lived in a Waban residential home. He had an infectious smile, a love for country music; especially Alan Jackson, and he was able to attend a concert in New Hampshire and lived out his dream by seeing and listening to Alan Jackson live. He also loved horses, country western movies and tv shows, The Price is Right, Bonanza, and hiking. Toy Story was his favorite movie. He will be dearly missed.
Brett is predeceased by his mother, Sherry Brusso, and his grandfather, Bradford Brusso.
Survivors include his sister Jessica Brusso of Sanford; grandmother Jeanne Brusso ; Step-father Joseph Del Duca of Sanford; an aunt Christina Brusso, Uncle Paul Sicotte, niece Riley Brusso, of Sanford; and nephew Zander Cornish; and many cousins and many close friends.
The family would like to thank Waban for taking such good care of Brett. Your caring and empathy for Brett propelled him into a much better place, both physically, mentally, and now spiritually. There's not enough thanks in the world.
Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
