Nancy Ann Dominy

Nancy Ann Dominy, 81, of Sanford, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Summer Commons in Sanford. Nancy was born on April 25, 1942, to Lawrence and Cecile Dominy in Springvale where she grew up and attended local Catholic schools, graduating from St. Ignatius High School. Nancy was a devout Catholic and was a 35-year member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Maine Ataxia group. She was an angel on Earth who has now gone to Heaven! She always had a smile on her face, loved people, read her bible every day and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Nancy was predeceased by her parents and by two sisters, Patricia Dominy and Jenny Paradis. Surviving are her sister, Sally McKay; her nephew, Marcel Paradis; her niece, Jennifer English and her husband Michael; her great-niece and nephew Phoebe and Jack English and her adopted sister, Debbie Johnson. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 29th at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford.
