Almon Cole

Almon Cole Sr., 77, passed away on October 22, 2017 at his residence in Rochester, NH, surrounded by his loved ones.He was born on July 9, 1940 to Alveros and Getrude (Dewitt) Cole in Porter, ME. His family moved around from Maine and New Hampshire, and he attended schools in Brownfield, and Portsmouth. Almon spent his working years as a truck driver. He had been a member of the Victory Club, and had several hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching races, working on cars, and for a time drove taxi in Sanford. What he loved most was spending time with his large family.He was predeceased by his parents, and a son, Ricky Cole.Survivors include, his wife of 50 years, Caroline Cole, a brother, Frederick Cole Sr., children, , Almon W. Cole Jr. and his significant other Joanne, of Lubbock, TX, Carmen Stanton and her husband Anthony Carone, of North Conway, NH, Sandra Bickmore and her husband Randy of Lincoln, CA, Tom Cole Sr., and his wife Elaine of Rochester, NH, Dawn Souza and her husband Joseph, of Chiefland FL, Annette Thibodeau and her husband Scott of Lebanon, ME, Almon Cole III, and his significant other Angela Keen of Somersworth, step children, Martha Carlson and her husband Doug of Sanford, Robert Elliot and his wife April, Jeannine Bush and her husband Leo of Nottingam, NH, 23 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.To leave a message of condolence, click tab at left.
