Christopher M. Chevalier

Christopher "Chris" Michael Chevalier passed away unexpectedly at his home in Sanford, ME on Wednesday August 5, 2020Chris was born on February 4th, 1969 in North Kingston, RI to Nancy and Michael Chevalier. He studied Theater Arts at the University of Hartford and was a lifelong lover of music and theater. On October 25th, 1992, he married Beverly Tart. They raised two children, Jasmine and Malcolm. Chris was a loving father and often said that becoming a parent was the best thing he ever did. He devoted his life to supporting and advocating for his children. He was also an advocate for all people and was part of organizing through ACTWU and ILGWU and was a member of the inaugural class of the Parent Leadership Training Institute in Sanford, ME. He was an avid music lover and loved to share obscure facts about his favorite bands. He was known for his quick wit, excellent singing, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Chris is survived by his father, Michael Chevalier mother, Nancy Seavey, and stepfather Ronald Seavey as well as his wife Beverly, his two children, Jasmine and Malcolm, his sister Heather and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
