Lillian R. Charrette

SPRINGVALE Lillian R. Charrette 74 died Monday at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long illness. She was born in Sanford December 21, 1933 the daughter of Joseph R. and Pauline (Charette) Ferland. She was educated at the former Holy Family School and attended the former St. Ignatius High School. Lillian and her husband lived and worked in Colchester, CT for twelve years returning to Sanford in 1975.She was employed by various companies through her years. She retired from NIKE Shoe due to ill health. She was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church Sprirngvale. She enjoyed quilting and home life, especially time with her grandchildren.Lillian is survived by her husband of 46 years Richard G. Charrette of Springvale, her daughter Gail Labossiere and husband Richard of Glastonbury, CT. Five sons, Ronald and his wife Diana of Litchfield ; Daniel and his wife Deborah ; Marc ; Patrick and his wife Cynthia all of Sanford and David of Millinockett. Three Brothers, Rene Ferland and his wife Jackie of Dover, NH ; Maurice Ferland and his wife Irene of W. Kennebunk ; Raymond Ferland and his wife Pauline of Dayton, and her two sisters, Rita Nichols and her husband Kenneth and Majella Cyr and her husband Norman both of Sanford.Eleven grandchildren, Cory Charrette, Michael Charrette, Crystal (Charrette) Carter, Matthew Charrette, Kevin Charrette, Adam Charrette, Joey Charrette, Kristin Labossiere, Eric Labossiere Shane Charrette and Andrew Charrette.Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 :30 AM Saturday at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church, Springvale with interment to follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Sanford.
