Claire G. Caron

Claire G. Caron, 82, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Friday May 20, 2016 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home in Scarborough. She was born in Sanford on January 3, 1934 a daughter of the late Louis and Rose (LeHouillier) Caron. She attended St. Ignatius School.She was a lifelong communicant of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish. For many years she and her husband Romeo vacationed during the winter months in Myrtle Beach and Florida. She enjoyed going to dances on Saturday nights with her husband and friends. She enjoyed knitting dish cloths, mittens, hats and slippers. She also enjoyed bowling and was part of a league with friends from her work.She is survived by her husband, Romeo E. Caron of Sanford, daughters, Sandra Gray of Sanford, Joyce Hoskins of Sanford, sister, Lucille Della Vechia of Florida, brother, Donald Caron of Sanford, grandchildren, Heather Tederous, Tiffany Edwards, Samantha Gray, Evan Gray, Travis Penney, Coddy Penney, Nyah Penney, Kera Levasseur, great grandchildren, Ella Tederous, Mia Tederous, Carter Edwards, Kareem Aldelsadk, Tarqi Aldelsadk, Julianna Penney, Ethan Penney, Madison Penney and Chance Penney.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 27 at 10:00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
