Marie Ange Caron

Marie Ange Pepin Caron, 90, of Sanford, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2014 in Sanford. One of seven children, she was born in Sanford, a daughter of the late Rodolphe and Lydia (Voyer) Pepin. She attended local schools graduating from St. Ignatius High School.For many years she was employed at Universal Shoe Corp. She also worked as a weaver in the Sanford Mills. She was a lifelong communicant of Holy Family Parish. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed rug braiding, taking care of others, bingo and walking.She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Alvie Caron who passed away in 1977.She is survived by her son, Wayne Caron and his wife, Ruth Sands of Windham, their two children, Julie and Leigh and their families. She is also survived by her daughter, Cynthia Poisson and her husband, Gerard of St. Norbert, Quebec, their three children, Eric, Jeff, Annie and their families. She is also survived by one brother, Sylvio Pepin of Sanford, one sister, Gertrude Berthiaume of Sanford. Many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. We shall all recall her smile and generosity.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Family and friends may pay their respects to the family beginning at 8AM until the time of the funeral mass.
