Alice M. Bunker

Alice M. (Blais) Bunker, 92 1/2 years old of Acton, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at her home on Tuesday March 27, 2012. She was born in Limerick on August 27, 1919 a daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Carroll) Blais.On October 5, 1940 she married Ralph E. Bunker and together they raised 10 children. Alice was a homemaker; she enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed babies and travelling.She is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Ralph E. Bunker, children, Kenneth, Chris and a baby girl.She is survived by two sons, Carlton Bunker and his wife, Donna of Acton, George Bunker and his wife, Debbie of Acton, five daughters, Theresa Waddington and her husband, David of Acton, Linda Grant and her husband, Terry of Acton, Darlene Ham and her husband, Keven of Acton, Christine Bunker of Acton, Sylvia White and her husband, Hector of Sanford, 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 29th from 6 to 8PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
