Jeannine C. Brunelle

Jeannine C. Brunelle, 66, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford.She was born on March 10, 1952, to Lionel and Juliette Desrochers in Sanford where she lived most of her life. She attended the Academy of St. Joseph in North Berwick and graduated from there in 1970. Jeannine lived her life as a caregiver. Professionally, she worked as a Certified Nurses Aid. She also spent many years caring for her grandmother until her passing. She then met other ladies whom she considered "adopted grandmothers" and would check in on them and help care for them as well.Her loving personality carried into being a doting grandmother, and she was generous and helpful in any way she was able. She was a communicant of the St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford. She also liked to volunteer for the St. Thomas Fair.She enjoyed taking trips to Boothbay Harbor, watching soap operas, Disney movies, and recently she liked to watch the New England Patriots. Jeannine is predeceased by her parents.Survivors include her long time companion, Dan Terroni, two sons, Gary Brown and his wife of Winter Springs, FL, and Gregory Brunelle, of Waterboro, a grandson Jonah Brown, a brother, Roger Desrochers and his wife Carolyn, of Acton, a sister, Rachel Dee and her husband, Mike, of Alfred, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.A time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 14 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford with a Mass of Christian Burial will to be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Therse Parish, Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave, Sanford.
