Donald E. Brosius

Donald E. Brosius, Jr., 56, died on Friday, December 29, 2017 at his home in Sanford. He was born on October 26, 1961 to Donald and Esther (Moore) Brosius Sr. in Dugway, UT. Being in a military family brought him to live in Washington State and on to Westford MA, where he graduated high school.During his working life, he was a cook, and recently worked at Allen Screen Printing in Scarborough.As a young man his interests included skiing, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, and as he got older, he enjoyed guns, trucks, cooking and playing darts.Donald was a fun loving, caring man. He was compassionate and especially loved his children. He was also a great friend and will be dearly missed.He is predeceased by father Donald Brosius Sr.Survivors include his mother, Esther Brosius, of Wells, a son, Christopher Brosius of Sanford, a daughter, Jennifer Brosius, a sister Ruth Farnsworth and her husband Butch, of Wells, an aunt Ruth Barry, of Kennebunk, and his former wife, Deborah Brosius-Yurga. Friends and relatives are invited to a time of visitation and memorial service on Friday, January 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St.Burial will take place in Westford, MA at a later date.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Wounded Warrior Program at www.woundedheroesmaine.org.To leave a message of condolence click tab at left.
