Rene Brooks

Rene M. Brooks, 54, of Sanford, died on February 23, 2015 at home with her husband Ernest Brooks and her animals by her side after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born in Sanford on May 27, 1960 to Arthur D. and Jayne E. (Chase) Cote Jr., both of Cherry Valley, Massachusetts.Having had a great love of animals, Rene attended two years at Becker College and studied to be a veterinary tech. However, she worked as a CNA at the former Hillcrest Manor in Sanford now known as Newton Center. She was a very caring and loving person who will be missed by those that knew her. There will be a graveside service in the spring at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester, Massachusetts.Services are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
